PT Solusi Sinergi Digital, Tbk and OREX SAI, INC. sign a Multi-Year Commercial Agreement to bring in Affordable Internet Solutions to Indonesia

Jakarta, Indonesia / Kawasaki, Japan – March 4, 2025 – PT Solusi Sinergi Digital, Tbk (SURGE), a leading Indonesian digital infrastructure company, and OREX SAI, INC. (OREX SAI), have officially signed a multi-year comprehensive commercial agreement to advance the Affordable Internet Program in Indonesia to bring high-speed internet access to unconnected and underserved regions across Indonesia, supporting the government’s vision of nationwide digital inclusion. This milestone follows the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in December 2024, marking a new phase of collaboration to bridge the digital divide in underserved communities.

Under this agreement, SURGE will lead the provisioning of the affordable internet service along with all necessary Infrastructure required for FWA implementation, and OREX SAI will provide its cutting-edge Open RAN-based 5G FWA solutions to SURGE, ensuring a cost-effective, scalable, and high-performance network infrastructure.

Strategic Milestones for Commercial Deployment

1. Field Trial Phase: Scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025, involving the deployment of initial sites to verify system functionality and operability.
2. Pre-Commercialization Phase: Starting in late 2025, deploying hundreds of sites to monitor and improve user experience and network performance.
3. Full-Scale Commercialization: Commencing in early 2026, aiming to deploy up to 20,000+ sites by 2030 and beyond.
